Here is just a sampling of the many kind words that our customers have emailed to us.
My husband Bob bought your hoop and stand for me for Christmas last year and this year, we got one for my Mom. She asked me to send you a note!
My Mom is 70 years old and has been quilting since she was a young girl. She said to tell you that she can't even imagine using her long frame ever again! This hoop is "AMAZING" and so very easy to use. She said she can't imagine ever having come up with the ideas used on these but she's sure glad someone did! This hoop and stand is truly allowing her to continue making beautiful works of art.
I LOVE mine and tell everyone I know about it.
You are CORRECT!!!!! I Love IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.
This is the best hoop I have ever had. ( She bought one of my custom steam bent hoops.)
I purchased just what I needed and it's everything you described and more.
Thank you for putting a wing nut on this that actually can be turned.
I can actually see a need for the border hoop.
I will put a little money aside and order that one in the near future.
Great craftsmanship. Quick shipping.
This is a quality item and works wonderfully.

I have never seen such workmanship. It (18" Floor Vented Floor Frame) is absolutely beautiful, you are truly an artist. Christmas has come early to our household. Thank you again for the delivery - much appreciated.
The Sit-On Frame is awesome. It fits under my legs well, and the fact that I can adjust the angle really helps. I am not having the elbow pain I have had using other (read: retail) hoops. I will send in a photo of my quilt block in the frame as soon as I can find my camera...it's under some fabric somewhere!

The Vented Laptop Hoop arrived last week, and it is awesome! Not only is it beautifully finished, but it is just the right size at 14" so I don't need to stretch to quilt. I *love* that it tilts to an infinite number of positions, and it also turns 380 degrees. NOW, it's on to learning Jean Brown's way of quilting [the Needleart thimble arrived a few days later]. Life is good!

Gotta tell ya, I got my hoop yesterday and I love it. No more hanging onto a hoop and hunching over. I ordered another one for my mother-in-law and was just emailing my sister your link to look at it too!
I have started to use the frame and am over the moon with it. It is so comfortable to use and the lazy susan makes moving around the design so easy. I've been using it for several hours in a comfy chair and have not suffered the usual neck and back ache associated with bending over work frames. I REALLY AM overjoyed with the frame and am thinking of getting a smaller frame in the future for smaller pieces of punch embroidery etc. As well as rug punching, I will certainly use the frame for my cross stitch projects and I'm going to try rug hooking on it as well.
Dear Mr. Barnett,
My sit-on lap top quilt frame arrived yesterday and I love it. It is everything I was looking for and so easy to use. When I opened the box and inhaled that smell of fresh cut wood, I was reminded of time spent as a little girl in the workshop of my great uncle who lived next door. He made beautiful bird houses, and, one year, made me a fantastic, two story doll house. Thanks so much for designing and building a great frame for quilting, and thanks for the memory.
I got the first one (Original 14") today ...It's terrific I am sooooooooooooooo glad I bought this hoop....I've been quilting for two hours and no back or shoulder pain. I can sit up straight and quilt without being humped back.
Thank you, thank you,
I love it! I am still quilting almost 5 hrs and no back or shoulder pain...I can sit up straight with my back again in the chair and quilt....and I am quilting a queen size....are you listening, a QUEEN in a hoop. With all my frames, I've had Ulmer, the Hinterberg, the poly plastic thing....because I'm so short I always had to sit on the edge of my chair and bend to quilt on them....they are all going to to resale shop tomorrow. I can't wait to get my Aunt Becky and I am set to quilt when and where I want.

Just a note to tell you how much I love this hoop! It arrived today. When I opened the box, the fragrance of the fresh wood was better than the finest perfume! I gave it a test-drive and I will tell you, I will never use anything else for my textile crafting. It is THE best. It is so lightweight and comfortable, but feels sturdy at the same time. Many thanks for such a great product. I wish you continued success in your endeavor!
Al the best.
I think your product is just perfect. I have been using it for a week now and what a difference it makes. I just started my first large wool hooked rug and the handheld hoop I was using was a pain to use. Your laptop hoop has saved my back and made it fun again. Thanks for offering this great product at a reasonable price. I would suggest this to anyone needing a hoop for rug hooking. Another advantage of the laptop hoop over the handheld is that the added height makes it much easier to pull the rug hooking cloth taut - you can use both hands to pull the cloth instead of having to use one hand to hold the hoop. I hope your company has great success.
I just received my laptop hoop. I am so delighted. It weighs NOTHING!! I am sure I will be able to find a way to use this. I have become so arthritic in my old age that I can't reach across my large full sized quilting rack, and I have it up for sale. I was afraid that I would have to give up all things quilty, but now I will try the lap quilter and see if I didn't have a few more years, thanks to you.
I watched and bookmarked your laptop hoops for about a year, always debating with myself about the ease of use, and of course, the cost. This year, I decided that this would be a wonderful Christmas gift to myself, so I ordered the 12" and 14" hoops! And let me tell you... I couldn't be happier. The laptop hoops are so light weight, sturdy, very comfortable and easy to use and don't take anywhere near the space that a quilting frame would. There are no rough edges on the wood to snag the finest material! Thanks so much for continuing a family tradition. I'm sure your father would be very proud of you!
I wish you much success!
Good morning, I have used the frame quite a bit and really like it. I heard about it from a quilting friend of mine that is also into rug hooking. She said the gals in that group said yours is the only kind to get because of stability. The fact that you have 4 posts instead of 3 is a big winner for me. I had a 3 post frame with the bottom made out of plywood that I got at a quilt show. Once the 1st post broke, it was a goner. I don't know if the tilting would make a big difference to me, but the swivelling sure would. For anyone quilting a large bed size quilt on it, it would be a great additional advantage. Good luck on your new frame. It sounds more ergonomically helpful. Have a wonderful Christmas!
